Caris LeVert & T.J. Warren – Indiana Pacers
Injuries have been a constant theme within the Indiana Pacers organization and they once again cannot escape the dreaded “injury bug”.
T.J. Warren played only 4 games last season before going down with a season-ending foot injury that required surgery and not only will he be out to begin this season, but Caris LeVert is also going to miss the Pacers’ Opening Night game against the Charlotte Hornets due to a stress fracture in his back.
Right now, Warren is expected to miss at least the first few weeks of the regular season, but there really is no timetable for when he could possibly return to action. He suffered a minor setback in September and was “behind schedule” from where the organization wanted him to be, so there are no indications right now for when Warren will play.
As for Caris LeVert, he will miss the first game of the season, but right now, he is more day-to-day than anything else.

Compared to the likes of Warren, LeVert will definitely be ready to make his season debut sometime within the next few weeks, but there is no real indication on when this may be yet. Back on October 12, head coach Rick Carlisle stated that, “He’ll be up to speed by the time he’s ready to play. And we don’t know when that will be.”
It is worth mentioning that as of last week though, Caris LeVert had yet to practice and scrimmage 5-on-5, so he could wind up missing the first handful of games for the Pacers. Indiana has their home-opener on October 23 and then they also have a home game on October 25, so these could be two dates we are looking at for LeVert’s return.

If he does not come back for either of these games, then it really is up-in-the-air for when we should expect to see Caris LeVert back out on the floor. His injury was not classified as being “serious,” but it is something that could linger throughout the year.
