Would this trade make sense for the Phoenix Suns?
The Phoenix Suns have made it clear that they are interested in building depth at all five positions. They have done so both through the draft and free agency. James Jones can hit another home run with a trade such as this one with the Utah Jazz.
Bogdanovic is a huge piece for a win-now team. Over the last two years in Utah, he is averaging 18.5 points while shooting 40% from three-point range. The 32-year-old forward has great size and fits into today’s NBA.
Adding Bogdanovic into the mix would bring a new dynamic to the Suns. They already have a true center in Deandre Ayton and Chris Paul would have another toy to work with, either down low or on the perimeter.
The Suns are as good as there is in the league right now and Bogdanovic would take them to another level. He’s a far more versatile scoring threat than Jae Crowder.
