Can the Kings make a trade with the 76ers work?
Of course, the Sacramento Kings can make a deal with the 76ers, but the decision really is up to them. They can constantly offer Hield and Bagley to the Philadelphia 76ers until Daryl Morey blocks their phone number, but at the end of the day, there is not much value for the Sixers to get from Sacramento unless they are getting a guy like De’Aaron Fox.
Moving Fox for an All-Star could be a good deal for the Kings, but in this situation, they really do not have much to gain. Ben Simmons is a great defender and would make Sacramento a better defensive team, but at the same time, he is a terrible offensive player when compared to the likes of De’Aaron Fox.
In four years playing with the Kings, Fox has transcended himself from a low-end point guard to being a possible first-time All-Star this upcoming year.
The time they have spent developing him into their leader would be worth nothing if they traded him for Ben Simmons, so realistically, there is not much else that can be done in trade talks between these two teams.

Sacramento does not want to trade Fox for Simmons and the 76ers do not want to talk about any other assets on the Kings roster, leading us to a standstill.
Do not count the Kings out from making any big move before the new season begins or during the first month, but as of right now, they do not really have a chance at landing Simmons from Philly unless they are to include De’Aaron Fox in a potential trade.

It is possible that a trade of Haliburton, Hield and Bagley, plus some draft picks, could be enough for the Sixers to finally give in, but Sacramento is unwilling to trade any of their young guards right now.
