Oklahoma City Thunder Receive: F Marvin Bagley III
Sacramento Kings Receive: F Gabriel Deck, G/F Kenrich Williams, PHX 2021 1st Round Pick (Top-12 Protected, via OKC), MIN 2024 2nd Round Pick

This is most likely the starting offer that Oklahoma City would send out to Sacramento if they do indeed have interest in Marvin Bagley III, especially since Deck and Williams are two players that the Thunder could possibly look to waive/move before the start of the season with their non-guaranteed deals.

It is possible that if the two teams begin to talk about trades with Bagley, the Thunder could possibly offer up Darius Bazley or Isaiah Roby, but management seems to be pretty high on these two forwards.

Ultimately though, the Kings may want a guy like Bazley for Bagley because of the value/potential Marvin Bagley III still has at just 22-years-old.

Through three seasons in the league, Bagley has missed a total of 108 games, which is about 48% of the Kings’ total games since drafting him in 2018. This is a large chunk of time, but when he has been available, the former top pick has been productive, averaging 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and shooting 50% over the course of his career.

If they do in fact look to move him before the start of the regular season, then the Kings are going to want a fair amount of value in return, but do Gabriel Deck and Kenrich Williams bring much to Sacramento?

Deck only played in 10 games last season with the Thunder and what he brings to the table in the NBA is a big unknown right now, but he has a lot of experience playing professionally in Argentina and Spain. His three-point shooting instincts have always been deemed a strong attribute, which is why he could be a wing the Kings would be interested in adding to their bench.

As for Kenrich Williams, he is coming off a really strong 2020-21 campaign in which he averaged 8.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and shot 44.4% from three-point range.

In any potential trade, the Kings are going to want to bring in some forwards, especially since they have a logjam in their backcourt with Fox, Haliburton, Mitchell, and Ramsey.

Getting some role players and draft compensation for Marvin Bagley III may be the best offer the Kings are going to get at this point, but there has been no word on whether or not Sacramento is actively trying to move the 22-year-old power-forward before his contract extension deadline.
