What would Chicago Bulls need to do to consider this season a success?

Many people are going to want to convince themselves that the Chicago Bulls can make a push for the NBA Finals.

While Chicago can achieve that with everything working in their favor, there are a few teams like the Brooklyn Nets, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Miami Heat that will have something to say about that. If you asked members of the Bulls, it’s championship or bust for them, given the high expectations that they place upon themselves.

However, it’s unrealistic to expect Chicago to suddenly go from a team that’s missed the playoffs for years to a title contender with a snap of the finger.

Yes, the Phoenix Suns achieved that last season, but to expect that to happen for a second consecutive season is unlikely. For me, the Bulls could consider this upcoming season a success if they can make a run to the second round of the playoffs (or further).
