Many listed the Dallas Mavericks as a potential destination due to Dragic having an opportunity to play alongside fellow Slovenian, Luka Doncic.

On top of that, the Dallas Mavericks have been longing for a point guard that can take some pressure off of Doncic.

Dallas is confident in Jalen Brunson, but if they can get Dragic to operate as the starter or backup point guard, they would likely still express interest in the veteran point guard. It will be vital for Dragic to show he can stay healthy this season after having injury issues in recent years.
