Besides Young, the Atlanta Hawks have done a remarkable job adding young talent in recent years.

Young, John Collins, De’Andre Hunter, Kevin Huerter, and Onyeka Okongwu are key players for Atlanta and they are all under 25 years old.

The team also added Jalen Johnson in the 2021 NBA Draft, which puts Cam Reddish in an awkward spot with the franchise. Reddish, who recently turned 22 years old himself, doesn’t have a clear role on the Hawks right now with the depth Atlanta has.

Along with Hunter and Huerter, the Hawks have Bogdan Bogdanovic, Danilo Gallinari, and Lou Williams who are expected to have roles with the team this season. .
