Would this trade make sense for the Philadelphia 76ers?
The Philadelphia 76ers have to trade Ben Simmons at this point. With him cutting communication off from the organization he has made his intentions clear. While they could try and reconcile things to bring him back into the fold, the damage seems to have already been done.
Thus far, the asking price the 76ers have placed on Simmons has been exorbitant. The packages they asked for from the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors are deals they would be hesitant to do for the best players in the league, let alone for a player with the flaws of Simmons.
They will have to lower their asking price, but receiving a package like this is an intriguing one for them. Their roster would be better balanced and fleshed out in this scenario, as all four players they are receiving can slot into their rotation.
Spencer Dinwiddie would take over as the starting point guard, giving them a legitimate third-scoring option behind Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris. Corey Kispert and Davis Bertans would provide them with elite 3-point shooting to help spread the floor while Dinwiddie and Embiid attack the paint.

The 76ers could use the two draft picks they get in the deal as a sweetener to move off from Harris or strengthen a package for another All-Star player that they want to pair with Embiid.
A Simmons trade, at this point, is best for everyone. He gets a clean slate with another organization while the 76ers reshape and retool the roster around Embiid going forward.
