Kenrich Williams – Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder are still rebuilding and GM Sam Presti always looks to move guys that are not going to play a big role in his team’s rotation for draft picks, so we could very well see the same thing happen here with Kenrich Williams.
Last season, Williams was a versatile player for the Thunder who not only spent time in the backcourt but also on the wing because of his shooting and playmaking abilities.
In 66 games with OKC last season, Kenrich Williams averaged 8.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals, and shot 44.4% from three-point range. Not only does he fit the mold of being a reliable three-point shooting threat, but Williams can be a factor in many different ways for a team like the Milwaukee Bucks.
Milwaukee has had a strong bench over the years, but when you look at their roster, particularly in terms of depth behind Khris Middleton on the wing, there are a lot of question marks.

The Bucks have high expectations for second-year wing Jordan Nwora, who put together some great performances in Summer League this offseason, and Rodney Hood was a veteran addition for them on the perimeter, but adding Kenrich Williams could give them another experienced player to help out during the regular season.
Not only does he bring a handful of years of experience to the Bucks, but Williams himself is only 26-years-old and a player they could add to their bench for a handful of years to come. Finding consistent three-point shooters on the wing can be hard to do in this league and guys shooting 44% from deep do not hit the trade block too often.

For his career, Williams has shot 34.9% from deep, so last season could have been an outlier year, but at just $2M for the 2021-22 season, this is definitely an investment that could pay off big time for the Milwaukee Bucks.
