3. Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic had James Ennis for the previous two seasons, so why not bring him back on the cheap deal?

Ennis improved his three-point shot as a member of the Magic, and he knows the system well. Signing Ennis would not be the worst move for a team that could use help any way they can get it.

Orlando landed Jalen Suggs with the fifth-overall pick in this year’s draft. The selection of Suggs gives the Magic a franchise point guard to build around and join Cole Anthony in the frontcourt.

There is a core for the Magic to build around, but there are also still supposed to be made. Jonathan Isaac and Mo Bamba can be used as trade pieces moving forward.

If this is the case, the Magic will undoubtedly need some versatility at the small forward position, which Ennis could bring. The two sides are familiar with the other, and it would make sense to reunite if no other offer is made.
