3. Collin Sexton
The Cleveland Cavaliers could be open for business leading up to and throughout training camp. It is no secret that they would like to move on from Kevin Love, but that is easier said than done. He has an exorbitant contract that makes him difficult to move and has battled numerous injuries.
To move him, they will certainly have to sweeten the package. Why not try attaching him to Collin Sexton and seeing if they get any bites? In that scenario, the Golden State Warriors should get into the mix.
Golden State could use the scoring punch that Sexton would provide. He set career-highs with 24.3 points and 4.4 assists last season and would be an upgrade for the team’s offense. He is a three-level scorer that would take a lot of pressure off of Stephen Curry in the backcourt.
Having a player capable of filling it up, as Collin Sexton can, would also enable the team to take things slowly with Klay Thompson. They need to make sure that he is not pushed too hard early on and can get his feet back under him.

Sexton has some shortcomings, but playing alongside Curry would give them a dynamic backcourt duo to lean on. If acquiring Collin Sexton requires taking on Love, that shouldn’t stop the Warriors.
If youngsters Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody are showing they are capable of helping, they would be comfortable moving Andrew Wiggins to help match salaries with Love if it meant getting the explosive Sexton as well.
