The Dark-Horse Team For Jerami Grant

Jerami Grant played very well in his first season with the Detroit Pistons. They had to be thrilled with the production that he provided, averaging a career-high 22.3 points per game. His efficiency dropped with more shot attempts, but he proved that he can be called upon as a go-to scorer.

In addition to the points, Grant also averaged a career-high 2.8 assists per game as well. He added 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game as well. He is a legitimate two-way player that was lauded for his defense earlier in his career but can now provide an offensive punch as well.

That kind of profile is something plenty of teams would love to add to their roster. A contender such as the Golden State Warriors would love a player with that kind of versatility on the wing. The Miami Heat were also mentioned as a possible trade destination at times during this offseason.

Detroit already flipped one of their other good signings from last season in Mason Plumlee. If Grant has a similar outcome, the Memphis Grizzlies are a dark-horse team to keep an eye on.
