JJ Redick – Guard
Paul Millsap is the best big man still available, but JJ Redick is definitely the most coveted guard still available and that is because he is one of the All-Time greatest three-point shooters in NBA history.
For his career, JJ Redick has made a total of 1,950 three-pointers, ranking him 15th on the NBA’s All-Time Three-Pointers Made list and just 29 threes away from passing Joe Johnson for 14th on this list.
Over the span of his now 15-year playing career, Redick has played for six different franchises, but for his career, he has shot 41.5% from three-point range, which is extremely impressive. When he retires, the veteran shooting guard will go down as one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, but he isn’t ready to be immortalized and remembered just yet.
JJ Redick still believes he has enough gas left in the tank to be a reliable bench player for a contending team in the NBA, the only question is which team will he sign with?

Seeing as he lives in the northeast and his family is there, teams like the 76ers, Nets and Celtics all seem like viable options for JJ Redick, but the Lakers and other teams in the Western Conference could also peak his interest in terms of contending for a title.
Earlier in August, Redick talked about his free agency on his podcast and when a potential decision could be made and mentioned it could be months.

Waiting until near the trade deadline during the 2021-22 season could very well be when the veteran sharpshooter makes his decision on who he wants to play for and when he is ready, there should be a handful of teams that will create a roster spot in order to sign him.
JJ Redick is one of the more reliable shooters in NBA history, which is why any team who gets him will instantly become better from the perimeter.
