Denzel Valentine

Some players on the Bulls roster did not get along with Denzel Valentine and while he did have some issues in Chicago, I am really surprised to see him still available.

After being drafted 14th overall in 2016 by the Bulls, Valentine has spent the last four seasons with Chicago, averaging 7.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and shooting 35.7% from three-point range.

He is not a juggernaut scorer and his value with the Bulls declined over the years, but Denzel Valentine can still be a solid bench/rotational player for numerous teams in this league. Valentine could even help out some playoff contending teams in the league.

While he is 27-years-old now and has reached his full potential, Denzel Valentine deserves a chance to play for a team in this league. He has shown the ability to be a solid perimeter threat and is not the worst defender in the world, which is why he is definitely worth a minimum contract on the end of the bench.

By the start of the 2021-22 season, I definitely think a team will have signed Denzel Valentine to a minimum deal, but if they have not by then, his time in the NBA may have come sooner than many would have imagined when he was drafted.
