This offseason has been quite a busy time for GM Rob Pelinka and the Los Angeles Lakers’ front-office as always but compared to year’s past, they have completely flipped this roster around from what it was last NBA season. Now, LeBron James, who joined the Lakers in the summer of 2018, is the longest tenured player on the team and they have a plethora of big names on their roster.
Not only do the Lakers have LeBron, Anthony Davis and now Russell Westbrook, but they also have Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza, Kendrick Nunn, Bent Bazemore, Malik Monk and a handful of other key talents. Injuries hurt Los Angeles’ chances of defending their title last season, but they have another championship on their mind for the 2021-22 season.
This is already a very impressive roster that has been put together, but could the Lakers look at adding yet another key talent on the wing?
The Indiana Pacers have been interested in moving Jeremy Lamb for quite some time now and while they looked to move him near the draft, they were unable to do so. Now, the 9-year veteran finds himself being brought up in trade talks once again, but this time, the Lakers are a team with reported interest.

Jeremy Lamb is entering the final year of his contract and is set to make $10.5M, which makes things a little complicated for the Lakers’ chances of potentially trading for him, but there is still a way in which they can make the finances work.
