Would this trade make sense for the Sacramento Kings?
The Sacramento Kings might be the team with the biggest need to rebuild at some point. This has been the process for years now but they have been unable to build a consistent winner.
A 15-year postseason drought can drive a team wild and make them do crazy things. This is a deal that has been on the horizon for a long time and they can finally pull the trigger.
It was rumored that Hield and the Kings were not on the same page last offseason. He was delegated to the bench in favor of Bogdan Bogdanovic and moved back into the starting lineup this season. It is unknown what the current state of that relationship is but Hield remains to be the biggest trade piece they have.
It is unlikely that the Kings decide to move Fox, who is an all-star caliber point guard leading the organization. Hield is a strong shooter and brings a lot of value to a win-now team. This is where the Kings can look to take advantage of that value.

When looking at this deal, Andrew Wiggins is a wing who has been unable to find a consistent home in the league. He would benefit from an extended role on a rebuilding team when there is not a lot of pressure. This is where he would thrive in Sacramento. The Kings would be able to get perhaps the right backcourt mate for Fox.
