Would this trade make sense for the Golden State Warriors?
The Golden State Warriors built their team and won championships using the three-point line. They implemented a fast-paced style of play where they get a lot of shots up. This is not going to change with players coming back and getting healthy so it would make sense for Golden State to continue to retool.
It was clear why Golden State had a couple down years. Two years ago, both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were injured while just one was able to return last season.
Curry was able to lead Golden State close to a postseason spot last year but did not have much around him. Along with a new contract extension, Curry will have Thompson back and the team will feel whole again.
Now, Hield could bring even more prowess from three-point range. He is an elite shooter and one that can fit in flawlessly with the plan in Golden State.

This might not be a blockbuster deal, like landing Kevin Durant, but it is one that will keep Golden State competitive and help them get even stronger from the perimeter.
