The Miami Heat were able to sign Jimmy Butler to an extension, re-sign Duncan Robinson, bring in PJ Tucker, and sign Markieff Morris.

The Heat have nice depth on the wing in 2021, but that shouldn’t prevent them from adding someone else on the wing. Of the available players in free agency, James Ennis is a player that makes a ton of sense for a team like Miami.

Ennis is a player that excels as a perimeter defender and he’s able to shoot somewhat efficiently from deep.

Just this past season, James Ennis notched 8.4 points and four rebounds per game while making 43.3 percent of his threes, which is the second-best mark of his career.
