Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets are chasing a championship with their Big 3 of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving. They are going to be in virtually every veteran that is looking to ring chase and Kevin Love would fall into that category.
The Nets added two frontcourt players last season in Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge for last season. Griffin re-signed with the team, but Aldridge was forced into retirement because of a health issue.
Love would be used in a similar role to Aldridge before he had to step away. The Nets struggled with frontcourt depth last season, especially once DeAndre Jordan was removed from the rotation. With Jeff Green signing with the Denver Nuggets, that becomes an even bigger issue.
The team did select Day’Ron Sharpe in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft, but a team in a win-now mode such as the Nets is unlikely to rely heavily on a rookie for big minutes. Love would give them another option to deploy in the frontcourt and he has experience playing with Irving already, which is a plus.

Love knows what it takes to win a championship and the Nets could use as much of that experience as they can get, especially if it comes in the form of a frontcourt player that can still produce.
