Would this trade make sense for the Phoenix Suns?
The Phoenix Suns were just a couple of wins away from an NBA Championship. This is something that the team is set up well to grab within the next few years and that should motivate the front office to keep improving. They did so by re-signing Paul and could continue on the trade market.
The Suns have plenty of scoring ability. Devin Booker is one of the best scorers in the league and has been for years now. He was able to display his ability to get it done on the biggest stage.
Deandre Ayton took another step this past season with Paul at the top of the offense. This could continue if Ingram was in the lineup. He is another scoring option that can get it done at all three levels.
Ingram would bring some more starpower to the rotation, which is something that teams need to have to win in the NBA. The Suns already have plenty but the Western Conference is only going to improve.

Phoenix will enter next season as one of the favorites to return to the championship. There will continue to be a gauntlet in the West and it could be even more difficult once teams get healthy. This trade would help the Suns keep pace and stay above some teams in the standings.
