There have been some NBA trade rumors involving Brandon Ingram this offseason. Those have long since quieted, however. This particular NBA trade scenario would be a bit of a blockbuster to improve one of the best teams in the league and is a fun one to think about.
Ingram and Wenyen Gabriel would be on their way to Phoenix in this deal. The Suns have plenty of assets they would be able to send to New Orleans.
Cameron Johnson played valuable minutes off the bench for the Suns this season and showed prowess from three-point range. He would be going to New Orleans to add to the perimeter.
Jae Crowder and Jalen Smith would be on his way to the Pelicans, along with Dario Saric and some first-round draft capital. Saric would be used as salary cap filler given that he will be out for the upcoming season. However, the value of adding Smith would overshadow that.
