Toronto Raptors Receive: F Marvin Bagley III, G/F Furkan Korkmaz
*Note: Furkan Korkmaz (PHI) cannot be traded until December 15, 2021 since he recently signed a new contract.
Sacramento wanting Ben Simmons or Pascal Siakam is not a secret at this point and while Toronto is not willing to give up Siakam at the moment, Philadelphia is very willing to give up Simmons if they can get championship-caliber assets in return.
Buddy Hield is definitely a player they should be interesting in adding and instead of acquiring Marvin Bagley III, who Philadelphia does not seem to have interest in, they would be adding Goran Dragic, who was the lead point guard on the 2019-20 Miami Heat team that won the Eastern Conference en route to the NBA Finals.
While Dragic’s contract is not favorable, he is only under contract through the 2021-22 season, giving the 76ers all the leverage in terms of possibly adding another key talent next offseason, should they fail to reach the NBA Finals this upcoming season. Right now, the Sixers are in a tough spot as a franchise and their championship window is extremely small, but they have a chance to contend for a title if they were to move Ben Simmons.

Hield and Dragic can definitely be key assets to help contend for a championship and if things do not go as planned, the 76ers would have a ton of draft capital coming in that they could look to leverage for established, championship-caliber talent. The 76ers would be getting the necessary assets they need to contend, the Kings would be getting the one player they want this offseason in Ben Simmons, but what about the Toronto Raptors? What is in it for them in this deal?
Not only would Toronto be able to unload Goran Dragic’s contract, but they would be adding two key talents in Marvin Bagley III and Furkan Korkmaz to help them be competitive during the 2021-22 season.
Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, Mavin Bagley III, Khem Birch, Chris Boucher, Furkan Korkmaz, OG Anunoby, Scottie Barnes and Gary Trent Jr. makes up a really strong roster with plenty of depth for the Raptors, which is why they could be interested in dealing Dragic and some second-round picks in this three-team deal.

Trading Ben Simmons is definitely something the Philadelphia 76ers want to do and are willing to do, but they are not just going to hand Simmons to the Kings on a silver platter. Buddy Hield is a strong player for them to add out on the perimeter and Goran Dragic is the veteran ball-handler they need in their backcourt, which is why this could actually be a deal they show a lot of interest in.
Seeing as Korkmaz cannot be traded until December 15 though since he recently signed a new contract with the 76ers, this is a deal that would have to be made mid-season, which could cause all three teams to shy away from making this deal.
