Would this trade make sense for the Miami Heat?
It is no secret that teams have taken on the style of building superteams to win championships. This is something that the Miami Heat created a bit back in 2010 when LeBron James joined Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. History could repeat itself, on a smaller scale, if Karl-Anthony Towns is acquired this offseason.
Bam Adebayo has made a name for himself with the Miami Heat but Towns is one of the best big men in the league. He can score from anywhere on the floor and is a double-double machine.
Towns is a big man that could stretch the floor and create space for the backcourt. With Kyle Lowry running the show, Towns would flourish. The spacing and pick-and-pop potential could bring needed dynamics to a Heat team looking to contend with the likes of the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets.
Lowry knows how to play with impact big men and this would create a perfect fit all around. The Heat would be a balanced lineup on both ends of the floor and have a chance to get back to contending for a championship.
