2. Scoring Punch
One of the things the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to fill their roster out with is some additional backcourt punch. With only 12 players currently on the roster, the Lakers can add up to three more players to the roster, in addition to two two-way players.
Isaiah Thomas would certainly fit the bill as someone that can add additional punch to their backcourt when it comes to scoring the basketball. While Pro-Ams are far from an NBA game, Thomas has been putting on quite a show in them this summer.
Most recently, Thomas poured in 81 points at Jamal Crawford’s Pro-Am, the CrawsOver, in Seattle.
Scoring the ball is one thing that Thomas never struggled with during his NBA career. He has been a bit inefficient doing it in recent years, but he is a 36.3 percent 3-point shooter in his career and the Lakers can never have too much of that.
