Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
If there is something that every contending team can never have enough of it is 3-point shooting and defense. If you can space the floor offensively you become that much more difficult to stop.
The more stops you can get on the other end of the floor, the easier it will be to win games.
While Rondae Hollis-Jefferson won’t provide any floor spacing offensively, he can be deployed as a versatile weapon defensively. The Arizona product is cut out of the P.J. Tucker mold in that respect, as both are Swiss Army knives on defense.
Hollis-Jefferson can defend every position on the court. He is athletic enough to stick with players on the perimeter but strong enough to hold his own on the interior as well. He is listed at 6’6” but more than makes up for whatever he lacks in height with his heart, toughness and relentless motor.

Surrounding him with players that can get the job done offensively is key, as his team’s offensive rating does usually improve when he is off the court. However, his impact defensively is present, as the Portland Trail Blazers were better with him on the court on that end.
