3-Point Shooting

While the Dallas Mavericks are still on the hunt for that secondary ball-handler to pair with Luka Doncic, they have gone all-in on one area this offseason; 3-point shooting.

Last season, Sterling Brown and Reggie Bullock were both excellent 3-point shooters. Brown knocked down 42.3 percent of his 3-point attempts with the Houston Rockets and is a 37.4 percent shooter in his career. Bullock is even better, knocking down 39.2 percent of his 3-point attempts in his career and 41 percent last season.

Both will help space the floor to give Luka Doncic more room to operate in the middle of the court. Buddy Hield would help elevate that even further as he shoots a good percentage on a high-volume amount of attempts.

Last season Hield knocked down 39.1 percent of his 3-point shots, making 4 3-pointers per game on 10.2 attempts. The 39.1 percent tied a career-low for Hield, who is a 40.6 percent shooter in his career.
