Washington Wizards Receive: C Myles Turner
Indiana Pacers Receive: F Kyle Kuzma, F Deni Avdija
The Washington Wizards had one of the best backcourt duos in the league last year and it was split up with Westbrook being sent away. A name flying under the radar in NBA trade rumors has been Myles Turner.
Turner has solidified himself as one of the best defenders in the league and has plenty of value on the open market. For a team who has sorely lacked execution on defense as in the case of the Wizards, there is a need to add a rim protector to raise the floor of the group.
In exchange for Turner, the Indiana Pacers will get Kyle Kuzma and Deni Avdija. Kuzma came over in the deal that sent Westbrook to the Lakers and could be on the move once again.
If the Pacers were to trade Turner, it would need to be to add more talent on the wing as Domantas Sabonis then slides over to the five spot. This is an NBA trade scenario that checks those boxes with two wings with two very different skill-sets.

The Pacers have been reluctant to move off Turner in trade talks but seem to know that it’s something that needs to be done. The Wizards have little time to appease Beal before potential disgruntled feelings begin to fester and bolstering the defense could help significantly.
Let’s take a closer look and see how this NBA trade scenario centered around Myles Turner would impact both the Indiana Pacers and Washington Wizards.
