3. Buddy Hield
The Sacramento Kings were close to trading Buddy Hield before the 2021 NBA Draft to the Los Angeles Lakers. The framework of a deal was in place, as Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell and the No. 22 pick were going to be sent to Sacramento for Hield.
At the last minute, the Washington Wizards swooped in a deal was made involving those three pieces and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for Russell Westbrook. Being close enough that a package was discussed, it will be awkward for Buddy Hield to return to the Kings, so the Golden State Warriors should take advantage.
If they are willing to pay what would be a massive tax bill, the Warriors could offer Kelly Oubre Jr. in a sign-and-trade for Hield should Sacramento be interested in acquiring him. Oubre would help balance out the Kings’ roster and give them a long-term option on the wing.
For the Warriors with Buddy Hield, he would elevate their offense to an extraordinary level. He could be the team’s sixth man, giving them a go-to option off the bench that they have lacked in recent years.

When he would play alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, their offense would be impossible to stop. Slowing down the Splash Brothers is hard enough; adding another 40.6 percent career shooter to the mix would be downright unfair.
