3. Detroit Pistons
The Detroit Pistons are already big winners this offseason with the addition of Cade Cunningham. Detroit selected the Oklahoma State product with the first overall pick in the draft and he has the chance to be a superstar in this league.
Following the trade of Mason Plumlee to the Charlotte Hornets on draft night, the Pistons will have some spending money this offseason. While they are not yet contenders, this is a team that looks like they are on the up and up.
Detroit has some intriguing young players as their core with Cunningham joining Killian Hayes, Saddiq Bey and Isaiah Stewart, who were all first-round draft picks last year. Adding another established veteran to the mix alongside Jerami Grant would help the rebuilding process along nicely and Evan Fournier could be that veteran.
The Pistons are reportedly showing interest in Dallas Mavericks shooting guard, Tim Hardaway Jr. If they are unable to land him, Fournier brings some similarities to the table. Whatever he lacks in explosive scoring compared to Hardaway, Fournier makes up for it with his playmaking.

Adding a player of Fournier’s caliber would help the young players immensely as he can be the go-to guy early on before ceding a bigger role to them once they are ready to take over games.
