Is there a team that fits PJ Tucker’s playstyle more than the Miami Heat? Maybe outside of the Milwaukee Bucks, the Heat would be an ideal fit for Tucker as he prepares to consider his options at 36 years old.
The Heat are another team that could be aggressive this offseason to bolster the roster around Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
It seems like a foregone conclusion that the Heat are going to land one of the notable free agents, but they need to round out their roster with marquee role players as well.
Despite his inconsistent shooting at times, Tucker does improve the spacing on the floor when he’s on the court and he would do well as a defender on a team that prioritizes playing lockdown defense, regardless of what their personnel is.

It never hurts to add more players who get after it on defense and can knock down open shots. This is a Heat team that lacked some of that in the supporting cast last season.
