Washington Wizards
The Washington Wizards have to figure out if Bradley Beal is going to commit long-term. If he doesn’t, they will look to trade him for assets to build a new foundation with. If he commits, they should go all out trying to acquire Karl-Anthony Towns.
Towns would make the Wizards contenders in the Eastern Conference alongside Beal and Russell Westbrook. The style in which Towns plays offensively would complement those two so well coming from the frontcourt.
While Towns isn’t a great defender, the Wizards should be able to find a hard-nosed, defensive-minded power forward to pair with him in free agency as veterans will want to play with that trio.
The price to acquire Towns would not be cheap.

The Wizards would likely have to make everyone and everything outside of Beal available to complete a deal, but it would be worthwhile to make a Big 3 in the nation’s capital.
