Golden Warriors Receive: C Myles Turner
Indiana Pacers Receive: F/G Andrew Wiggins, C James Wiseman, 2021 first-round pick (No. 14 overall)
This time around, I’ll be putting together a trade that lands the Indiana Pacers Wiseman, giving them someone who can replace Myles Turner at the center position.
After being taken with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, notably over LaMelo Ball, Wiseman had a shaky rookie season with the Warriors. There were flashes of upside to his game, but he showed that he still has plenty to work on before he’s considered a formidable two-way center in the NBA.
But for Indiana to even consider moving Turner to Golden State, I believe Wiseman needs to be included one way or another.
Wiggins still would be traded to the Pacers with Wiseman, helping match the money that the Warriors have to absorb with Turner’s incoming contract.

With Wiseman being included in this trade, Golden State is able to convince Indiana to take the 14th overall pick instead of the seventh overall pick, allowing the Warriors to target someone else with their earlier lottery pick.
