Bring Championship Experience
With JaVale McGee hitting free agency, the Nuggets roster currently has no player that has appeared in an NBA Finals game on it. Paul Millsap is also hitting free agency, leaving Denver with limited playoff experience in general on the roster.
The only experience most of the roster has from the postseason has come in the last two years. A sign-and-trade for Kyle Lowry would change that for the Denver Nuggets.
Lowry has played in 97 playoff games, averaging 35 minutes per game. He helped the Toronto Raptors win a championship in 2019, so he knows what it takes for a team to finish on top.
That is something the team could use to help get them over the top. Having a veteran that knows the grind and has been there before will put the rest of the players at ease knowing they have someone to rely on when the going gets tough.

Lowry will be 35 in November, so he could be looking for another contending team to play for should he leave Toronto. He would make the Nuggets real contenders with his experience.
