Does this trade make sense for the Indiana Pacers?
The Indiana Pacers could be sending some players away in hopes of clearing some cap space. This is what a down year will do to a franchise. All of a sudden, the Pacers believe they have to retool and send away some contracts.
Turner could be first on the list because of his current situation. He is under control and has shown great ability on both ends. This means the Pacers could get some assets back.
Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis have been mentioned in trade rumors around the NBA and the Pacers still might move on soon enough.
Turner could be the main priority. In this deal, LeVert and Harris would be able to take over in the backcourt. Harris is one of the best shooters in the league and has plenty of starting experience on an elite team. Harris was signed last year and that means Indiana would have to plan around his contract.
