Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers need to add more scoring to the roster beyond LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Improving their 3-point shooting this offseason is also imperative, and Bojan Bogdanovic would accomplish both.

Bogdanovic would get a ton of open looks playing in a lineup alongside those two incredible offensive players. He is a great catch-and-shoot player, as his rookie season was the only time he shot below 38.7 percent on those kinds of shot attempts. Bogdanovic would receive plenty of them in this offense, and if he returned to his form the previous three seasons when he was 40 percent or better, it would really open things up for Los Angeles.

Outside of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, the Lakers lacked a consistent threat that could hurt teams from behind the arc. The Washington Wizards were the only playoff team that made fewer 3-pointers per game and converted on a lower percentage of their 3-point attempts than the Lakers in the regular season.

Bringing him into the fold would greatly improve the Lakers team’s offense. The impact he would have on that side of the court would far outweigh the negative impact he would have on the team’s defense.

Even without LeBron James and Anthony Davis for chunks of the season, the Lakers still finished the regular season with the best defensive rating in the NBA.
