Scottie Barnes
Players that can guard all five positions have become a wanted commodity in the NBA. Scottie Barnes fits that description this season, which is why he’s rising up draft boards.
This season, in his lone year at Florida State, Barnes posted 10.3 points, four rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. His length at 6-foot-9 is going to cause teams to watch his film from college, leading to what is expected to make him a top 10 pick in the draft.
Barnes was used as a wing player at Florida State, and he’ll likely retain the same role in the NBA.
While he is a well-rounded player, if he can develop a consistent outside shot, he’d be a great two-way player to build around.

At the least, his capabilities on the defensive end are going to make him an immediate contributor as a rookie. As he evolves his shooting, there is no limit to what Barnes can become at the next level.
