Miami Heat

The Miami Heat were one of the most aggressive pursuers of Kyle Lowry before the trade deadline. Their insistence to not include both of their young assets in Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro could work out in the end.

While the 2020-21 season didn’t end as Miami had hoped, there is no guarantee Lowry would have changed those fortunes. So, they would be facing a Lowry free agency, without multiple assets. Now, they have all of their depth and assets and could still add Lowry to the fold.

Lowry would be a great addition to the Heat as he fits the mold of the player they are looking for. He gets after it defensively and would make for a stellar trio along with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo at every level of the defense.

His 3-point shooting would greatly improve the team’s offensive efficiency as well, as Duncan Robinson was sometimes the lone 3-point threat on the court.
