Charlotte Hornets
The whole depth chart at the center position could undergo an overhaul for the Charlotte Hornets this offseason. There arguably isn’t a team in the NBA that has a bigger hole at the center spot heading into the offseason than Charlotte.
Cody Zeller and Bismack Biyombo, their two centers from this past season, are both free agents. While he has his shortcomings, Andre Drummond would present an upgrade on both of them.
Landing a center to pair in the frontcourt with P.J. Washington is imperative for the Hornets this season. He fits best at power forward, and his skill set offensively would go well with Drummond.
Washington has proven to be a capable floor spacer for the Hornets, so Drummond would have room to operate in the post.

The Hornets need to continue adding established veterans to the roster to push them closer to the playoffs in the Eastern Conference. Drummond, despite his shortcomings, would help them do that even if he averages only 25 minutes per game.
