Does this trade make sense for the Sacramento Kings?
The Sacramento Kings has had players in NBA trade rumors for months now. Buddy Hield has been at the top of many of these but he has not been sent away just yet. While that could change with the emergence on Tyrese Haliburton, there are certainly other players to monitor.
Based on this NBA trade scenario, the Kings will be able to hang onto him for another potential deal if they make something like this happen first.
Marvin Bagley III has been underwhelming for the Kings since coming into the league. Sacramento expected Bagley to be a star when they took him No. 2 overall. That has not been the case and now he can be used as a trade piece, along with Harrison Barnes.
In return, the Kings would get back some draft capital which would help right away. Kevin Love and Cedi Osman would be able to contribute if healthy but this is a move for the Kings to unload some assets and clear some cap space.

The Kings are years away from competing just like the Cavaliers. This is a deal between two rebuilding teams that would point them in the right direction and check some boxes.
