Does this trade make sense for the Charlotte Hornets?
The Charlotte Hornets have taken that step in the Eastern Conference because of their strong guard play. They could continue to climb up the standings if they add that impact performer down low.
The Eastern Conference was extremely top-heavy this season and that is going to continue. The Hornets are one of the lower teams that have a chance to make a move up. In order to do so, the team must improve defensively and is sorely in need of a rim protector in order to do so.
Robinson has struggled with injuries. This could be why the Knicks are looking to move him. He is young enough to where there is still value. Robinson brings great length and athleticism to both ends of the floor. He is a big that can run the floor and catch a lob in the pick-and-roll game.
This works well with what LaMelo Ball showed during his Rookie-of-the-Year campaign. At this time, a forward would benefit the Hornets more than Rozier would. They have set themselves up where they can move a guard and still use their depth as insurance.

Charlotte needs to add that big man that can compete with the other elite forwards in the East. This is a chance to gain a player in Robinson with enormous potential.
