Philadelphia 76ers Receive: G Damian Lillard and F Robert Covington
Portland Trail Blazers Receive: F Tobias Harris, G Tyrese Maxey, G George Hill, F Paul Reed, 2021 first-round pick, 2023 first-round pick, 2023 second-round pick and 2024 second-round pick
If the Trail Blazers are really taking a ‘let’s blow it up’ approach to the offseason, then the 76ers could possibly get more than just Lillard in the NBA trade scenario.
Being able to snag a player like Lillard is more than enough to say Philadelphia had a successful offseason. But what if the 76ers can also get Robert Covington in the trade.
Covington would return to Philadelphia, where he played from 2014-2018, giving the team a versatile forward that can contribute on both ends of the floor. On the other side of the NBA trade scenario, let’s say the Trail Blazers have no desire to get Simmons as they believe he’s a finished project already.
In that case, Tobias Harris would be the next best player that the 76ers could offer in the trade. Aside from Harris, who helps solve Portland’s forward issues, the Trail Blazers also get Maxey, Reed, George Hill, two first-round picks, and two second-round picks.

Hill would be thrown in the NBA trade scenario to make the financial part of the trade work. The veteran point guard would give Portland an experience guard to run their second unit, or they could use him as a trade piece to get more draft assets for the future.
