New York Knicks
It is no surprise to see the New York Knicks in on this deal. They have not had a strong presence at the point-guard position for many years now. With the new regime in New York, this is something that should be a priority entering in the offseason.
It was a shockingly successful season for the Knicks. They finished with 41 wins and landed the fourth seed in Eastern Conference.
Once they were in the postseason, their lack of ability at the top of the offense was on full display. Derrick Rose played out of his mind but the Knicks had little to no depth at the position.
This led to them being eliminated in five games by the Atlanta Hawks. Rose is clearly not a future piece for the Knicks and this means they need to go out and find their point guard if they want to continue to compete.

Tom Thibodeau came in they completely changed the culture for the Knicks. Now, it is time that the front office puts the right team on the floor that he can work with moving forward.
