The Toronto Raptors are another team that benefited from the draft lottery this season. They landed the fourth pick in the draft after seeing a tremendous rise. It was a disappointing season for the Raptors and this could cause Masai Ujiri to be aggressive in the offseason.
If the Raptors are interested in moving their pick, they could look for a player like Collin Sexton in a trade. Kyle Lowry is entering NBA free agency and has more than likely played his last game with the Raptors.
Fred VanVleet signed a long-term deal last season, which makes him the new focal point of the team.
It would benefit the Raptors greatly to have a backcourt partner for Fred VanVleet. Sexton is a piece that would fit right in and give them some more explosiveness on the offensive end.

The Raptors have been one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference for the past few years. This changed during the season as they finished near the bottom of the standings and were not in contention for the postseason. This is something that the team could be looking to change moving forward.
