Oklahoma City Receive: F Harrison Barnes and 2025 second-round pick
Sacramento Kings: Isaiah Roby, 2021 first-round pick (via MIA), 2023 second-round pick (via WAS)
Aside from Gilgeous-Alexander, there isn’t a young player on Oklahoma City’s roster that you can definitively say will be on the team two years from now.
To bolster the roster around Gilgeous-Alexander, the Thunder are hoping to find another star talent or two through the draft. But whenever Oklahoma City begins inserting more youth into their lineup, they’re going to need some veterans that can bring experience to the roster.
The Sacramento Kings are a team that could be open for business this summer, and Harrison Barnes is an intriguing name to watch.
Barnes would be able to move back to the small forward position for the Thunder, or he can play as a small-ball power forward. Bringing in Barnes would give Oklahoma City two veteran players in the starting lineup with Walker running the point.

The Thunder would have to surrender Isaiah Roby in the trade, a 2021 first-round pick from the Miami Heat, and a 2023 second-round pick from the Washington Wizards. While Roby showed flashes of potential at times, Presti wouldn’t even realize that draft picks were gone in the trade.
