Los Angeles Lakers Receive: G Kemba Walker and F Kenrich Williams
Thunder Receive: G Dennis Schroder, C Montrezl Harrell, and 2026 first-round pick
With Kemba Walker being traded recently, he can’t be traded with another member of the Thunder until after July 7th. So if the Lakers are interested in another player on Oklahoma City’s roster, they’ll have to be patient in acquiring Walker.
Besides Walker, in this scenario, Los Angeles elects to get Walker and Kenrich Williams from the Thunder. Williams is a solid role player that would bring versatility to the Lakers as he can play a variety of positions.
On the other hand, the Lakers would have to get creative in moving Dennis Schroder and Harrell with sign-and-trades. That being said, it is unknown if Schroder would be content with returning to the Thunder, or if Oklahoma City wants him back. As long as he receives the contract he’s seeking, I don’t know if Schroder really has a preference of where he plays next season.

There likely won’t be a deal finalized for Walker unless Presti adds to his large collection of draft picks. Provided that, the Lakers toss in a future first-round pick to complete the deal.
If Los Angeles isn’t interested in retaining Schroder, and they believe Walker could be the answer to their problems, this is a possible — yet improbable — trade scenario that could transpire this offseason.
