Big Question ahead of Game 7: Who will step up next to Kevin Durant?
Kind of building off of the Joe Harris talk about nobody stepping up next to Durant, the biggest question heading into Game 7 is not about the Bucks and not about Kevin Durant, but who will step up next to Kevin Durant for Brooklyn. Will it be Joe Harris, will it be Jeff Green or will it be somebody else?
At this point, it is very clear to see that James Harden is only out there for his playmaking/passing abilities, as well as his ability to occasionally knock down a stepback three-pointer, but he is hurt and cannot be that #2 guy next to Kevin Durant in Game 7.

Kevin Durant is going to go out in Game 7 and get 30+ points, as he must for Brooklyn to have a chance, but he will need help. Nobody stepped up in Game 6 and as a result, the Nets lost by 15 points because they simply do not have the defense to keep them in games. Offense has been the advantage Brooklyn has had over teams all season long, but in this series against Milwaukee, they have not been great on offense.
Both Irving and Harden being out and missing time has not helped their cause, but nonetheless, somebody other than Durant needs to have a 20+ point performance in Game 7 against the Bucks in order for Brooklyn to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
If nobody other than Durant is going to score 20+ points, then their other starters in Blake Griffin, Jeff Green and Joe Harris will need to combine for at least 45-50 points. Offensive production needs to come from someone other than KD in Game 7, which is why this remains the biggest question mark for the Nets heading into one of the biggest games for them in franchise history.
