Does this trade make sense for the Golden State Warriors?
Jonas Valanciunas has averaged a double-double in each of his last three years in Memphis. In 62 games this season, the big man averaged 17.1 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. Golden State has not won its championships inside but a true big man could help take the lineup to the next level. Valanciunas fits the mold if the Warriors are in the market.

With Klay Thompson returning from a torn Achilles, Golden State will be looking to get back to championship level. They will have the splash brothers back intact which is dangerous, especially after the season that we saw from Curry. The Warriors had some strange fits and it began with Wiggins and continued with Kelly Oubre Jr.
There is no guarantee that either will be on the roster next season. This deal will send Andrew Wiggins away for a player that would go a long way in balancing the lineup. Golden State has plenty of options to work with in the offseason and there could be some big ones made.
It will be interesting to see which direction the front office goes moving forward. With the star power in place, the Warriors will look to rebuild that championship squad.
