The past two years have been uncommon for the Golden State Warriors. They have not been contending for NBA championships because injuries have taken over. Heading into next season, the Warriors will look to have their full squad back and get back to the top of the Western Conference.
Klay Thompson has missed the last two years with lower body injuries. Stephen Curry returned to the lineup this season and played at an MVP level. This included winning the scoring team on the final day of the season. Curry led a mediocre roster to a spot in the play-in games of the postseason.

Golden State had no business being where they were and were led completely by the heroics of Curry. In the offseason, the front office can make some moves in hopes of returning to the championship level.
A team to keep an eye on is another Western Conference Group that was barely made the postseason. The Memphis Grizzlies finally took that last step in the playoffs as the eighth seed and were eliminated in the first round with the Utah Jazz. Ja Morant got the chance to show that he is a legitimate star and leader.
Memphis has its franchise player and it is at the most important position. Now, the front office could look to complete the rotation with some other big-name players. That’s where a trade could come in to play.
