Josh Hart

The Orlando Magic need to improve defensively and need depth on the wings. New Orleans Pelicans versatile wing Josh Hart would help provide that.

Hart has proven in his NBA career that he can get after it defensively. He can defend virtually anyone on the court outside of centers. Hart played four years at Villanova and it shows, as he came into the NBA ready to help a team win from Day 1.

Orlando could take advantage of the Pelicans being a small market team here. They already handed out a huge extension to Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball is also a restricted free agent this summer. With a max extension looming in the not-so-distant future for Zion Williamson, New Orleans may have to pass on retaining Hart.

Josh Hart would be an excellent addition to this roster as he can fill so many holes. He can play alongside any of those guards in the backcourt or slide to the 3 if two of them are on the court.
