Why This Is A Good Trade For Miami

This is a good trade for the Miami Heat because they are able to land a great player to help them in their championship window. We all saw the Heat give last season’s champions, the Los Angeles Lakers, a run for their money and adding a great and experienced talent in Rozier to their arsenal could help the Heat keep their championship window open.

The Heat haven’t seen enough production from Kendrick Nunn to bank on him being the answer at point guard and Duncan Robinson and Victor Oladipo have contracts that are set to expire. Robinson is likely to be re-signed, but adding Rozier would give the Heat a proven and established point guard to give the team some stability in their starting lineup.

Rozier, this season, averaged 20.4 points per game, 4.4 total rebounds per game, and 4.2 assists per game for the Hornets while shooting 45 percent from the floor and 38.9 percent from beyond the three point line. He would be a highly effective addition to the Miami Heat.

Giving up Tyler Herro would be a tough decision for the Heat, but he had a very inconsistent season this year. If Pat Riley thinks that Rozier would be an upgrade for the roster, they would not hesitate to pull the trigger on this trade.
